Following the success of last year’s meeting in Cardiff, the BAAPS is pleased to announce its Annual Meeting 2010 will be held at The Royal College of Physicians, London on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th September.
Companies are invited to exhibit in the Dorchester Library and in the Osler / Long Room where refreshments and lunch will also be served. The cost of exhibiting at this two-day meeting will be £1,500 for a stand space of 2m x 1m and £1,800 for a stand space of 3m x 2m. This fee includes refreshments and luncheon for two representatives. Please note that a charge of £40 per day will be made for extra representatives.
We are always pleased to invite prominent guest speakers from overseas to our meetings. Confirmed speakers this year include Al Aly (USA), Ricardo Ribeiro (South America) and Constantino Mendieta (USA). If you are interested in sponsoring an overseas speaker, please let me know as soon as possible. Various incentives available – please call to discuss!
There are two major social events planned: a special evening for the Faculty will be held on Wednesday 22nd September at Rhodes Twenty Four and the BAAPS Annual Dinner will be held on Thursday 23rd September in the Saddlers’ Hall – a wonderful guildhall in the City of London. Both of these events will involve a champagne reception and fine food and wine will be offered to diners. To be associated with the Faculty Dinner I am looking for sponsorship of £3,500. To be associated with The Annual Dinner I am looking for sponsorship of £7,000. A very special after-dinner speaker will be there to make it a particularly enjoyable evening and, of course, all company representatives are very welcome to join in the fun! Please do not hesitate to contact me for further discussion.
This year the BAAPS is holding and additional meeting featuring ‘live’ demonstrations of injectables. This will be held at the RCP on Wednesday 22nd September and the day will be open to trainees (part of the continuing series in conjunction with the Raven Department of Education) and also to Consultants. A sole sponsor is sought for this event which would give a company access to trainees at the start of their career in injectables. Please contact me to discuss possibilities.
Other sponsorship possibilities are listed on the accompanying sheet – an offer to supply pens for all delegates would be very welcome too!
Advertising space will be available in the full-colour programme to be distributed to all delegates, BAAPS members, trade, press and other interested parties
There will be a Press Conference during the session which will, do doubt, produce copious column inches. The Press will be invited to visit the trade exhibition. Further details will follow.
I do hope you will be able to participate at this important and prestigious conference. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss how to maximize your impact at the conference or have any queries. Please note that space is at a premium at this venue – please contact me with your payment as soon as possible to reserve your space.
